In 1944, the Anolik brothers found themselves confined in a Nazi concentration camp in occupied Estonia, where they came across their uncle, Dr. Wtodzimierz Poczter, who had been captured a year earlier. As the Nazi soldiers escorted Poczter to the forest for execution, aware that his life was about to end, he quietly entrusted his Cyma pocket watch to the Anolik brothers, hoping they could keep hold of this final glimmer of hope. Ultimately, they clung tightly to the timepiece that bore witness to the years, managed to escape, and passed down the story to future generations.
